2019 Round 1 at Suzuka Qualifying Report
2019年4月21日
Alex Palou has been riding the wave since the first pre-season test in March at Suzuka. After posting the fastest times in today’s Q1 and Q2, everyone thought that he would probably win pole for tomorrow’s 250 km (43 lap) championship race. What they didn’t figure on was his teammate Tadasuke Makino besting both Alex and last year’s season champion Naoki Yamamoto. But with no time left on the clock in Q3, Makino pulled off an unbelievable feat, to win pole as a rookie at Suzuka. And to also give NAKAJIMA RACING a P1 and P2 start. Naokii Yamamoto will start in P3. In P4 will be Nirei Fukuzumi, P5 Yuhi Sekiguchi, P6 Kenta Yamashita.
