Matsushita to Replace Sette Camara for Rd. 4
B-MAX RACING announced that their full-time driver Sergio Sette Camara will miss Rd. 4 at Autopolis. Replacing him will be Nobuharu Matsushita.
Red Bull junior Sette Camara, an F1 reserve driver, has also driven in Formula E this season. He took part in the Super Formula March pre-season test and stayed in Japan, until the season was rescheduled with a late August start because of the ill-effects of COVID-19. In Rd. 3 at SUGO, Sette Camara displayed his speed by winning pole in his very first Super Formula qualifying.
Matsushita participated in Formula 2 in Europe for 3 seasons until 2017, then again from 2019 until partway through this season. He has also driven in the Super GT300 class on a spot basis this season. He was Rookie of the Year in 2018 when he raced in Super Formula full-time.
