Japan Race Promotion, Inc. (JRP) has announced it will continue its racing tire partnership for Super Formula with Yokohama Rubber, Inc., the manufacturer of the current ADVAN racing tire, from the 2023 season on.

As part of the “SUPER FORMULA NEXT50” project (SF NEXT50) in which JRP works with several partners from various industries, Yokohama Rubber will utilize its know-how in order to help create a sustainable motorsport industry by using natural compound agents and remanufacturing of sustainable materials in order to develop racing tires together with JRP.

During the “Suzuka Circuit 60th Anniversary Fan Appreciation Day,” scheduled for Saturday and Sunday (March 5 & 6), JRP will make an announcement regarding both its continued partnership with Yokohama Tire, as well as its efforts for the development of carbon neutral formula cars.
